The Frigidaire FFHB2740PE5A Water Filter helps keep your refrigerator water fresh, clean, and tasting better. Water from city pipes, wells, or regular taps can have dirt, rust, sand, chlorine taste and smell, lead, cysts, and other unwanted stuff before it comes out of your dispenser. This ULTRAWF / PureSource Ultra filter uses activated carbon to reduce some of these impurities as water passes through it.
A new filter can make drinking water and ice taste better. ULTRAWF is the original filter type used in certain Frigidaire and compatible refrigerators, including some Kenmore models. It is certified to reduce specific contaminants like chlorine taste and smell, lead, cysts, mercury, benzene, styrene, asbestos, and others, as shown on the performance sheet. Change the filter every 6 months for best results.
